Kimberly Maher

Kimberly is a zealous advocate for her clients charged with domestic violence and sexual assault. As defense counsel, Kimberly has successfully navigated numerous clients through criminal litigation and trial – securing multiple not guilty verdicts for clients facing decades of potential prison time if convicted at trial. She has seen firsthand the stress and terror felt by her clients facing these allegations.
Prior to starting Maher & Maher Law PC, Kimberly served for five years in two different Colorado jurisdictions as a deputy district attorney. During her time as a Deputy DA, she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases including but not limited to domestic violence, kidnapping, stalking, burglary, fraud and murder. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kimberly served as a legislative assistant for a Florida congressman on Capitol Hill. In D.C. Kimberly worked on the House Education and Labor Committee and aided in the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. Kimberly then returned to Colorado and graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Kimberly served as President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association.
